I wanted make a few turns. Gas was $406 so... I went to Millcreek and took the snowlerblades.
I hit snow line at the Bowman-Pole canyon junction and went up the Cabin run. A little nervous about the hiking boots and short skis, a warm up seemed appropriate.
They turn just fine. An inch or two of blown around white over the firmer brown snow.
Back up, summiting for a look over at Broads. Glide slides continue but, looks like it's about over.

Traversed onto the main face and found a continuous line into the main gully. I t got a little narrow at the bottom.
I almost made it to the old Porter summer trail. There was a few hundred yards of bushwhacking.
